Noise/Vibration Analysis
Once the equipment has been running long enough
to come up to normal operating temperature, it should
be tested to ensure there are no unusual noises and
vibration is not excessive.
Instructions governing procedures to be followed
when conducting noise and vibration analysis can be
found in NAVSEA 0900-LP-060-2020.
This test procedure can be used to identify
immediate or impending bearing problems and
